Outlaw Soaps: Fire In The Hole Review

If John Wayne ever got into the cologne business, my bet would be that this ‘Fire In The Hole’ would be his signature scent.

Seriously, after one pump of this stout 9.5ml spray bottle of this cologne I was blown away.

It truly is unlike anything I have ever smelled before, this cologne evokes the scent of campfire, gunpowder, and whiskey.

Yeah, you read that right!

Here’s why it took me by surprise:

You see most ‘manly’ colognes just simply rely on a woodsy scent (i.e. cedarwood or sandalwood), to get the job done.  However, Outlaw Soaps has truly outdone themselves with this concoction.

Given its unique scent profile, you could wear this cologne either as daily casual wear to the office or in the evening when you plan on putting your full masculinity on display – just make sure you don’t overdo it!

Beyond the scent, this cologne delivers on a couple of other fronts – namely the size and the ingredient profile.

Within the bottle you will find only two ingredients – alcohol and fragrance.

What a cologne should be.

Therefore, if you have terribly sensitive skin and find that some colognes with their added ingredients give some irritation, you will definitely enjoy the clean profile here.

Secondly, whether you are a man that finds yourself on a business trip every other week, or perhaps you just like taking trips with your significant other on a frequent basis, you will love that this bottle of manly cologne is well under the 3.4oz liquid rule enforced by the TSA.

Therefore, you don’t have to worry about some bitter TSA agent stealing your beloved cologne when on a trip.

Overall, this is a magnificent cologne that hits all marks.
