Rating System

Before sharing any product recommendation with our audience, our expert team carefully tests or rates the products. Naturally, we give high marks to only the very best. Our rating system is designed to be as objective and transparent as possible.

Rating Criteria

Effectiveness: Does the product actually work? We test and/or research products and look at scientific studies to see if there is evidence that the product is effective.

Safety: Is the product safe to use? We consider potential side effects and any other safety concerns.

Quality: Is the product well-made? We look at things like ingredient composition, manufacturing quality, and packaging. If there are signs of poor quality, the product will lose points and potentially not make it to our list.

Value: Is the product worth the price? We compare the product’s price to similar products on the market and look at discounts and special offers. We also consider whether the product comes with any extras that add value compared to the competition.

Peer Reviews: Whether it’s reviews on a merchant website or feedback from people we know who have used the product, we consider all data points when making our decision. Additionally, we source feedback from popular forums such as Reddit, Quora, and niche-specific forums to get a sense of what real users think about the product.

These are the main criteria we use when rating products, but we also consider other factors, such as customer satisfaction ratings, company reputation, third-party rating systems, and return policies.

When scoring products, we use a scale of 1-100, with 100 being the best possible score. We give extra weight to products that rank highly in multiple categories. For example, a product that is both effective and safe will score higher than a just effective product.

When calculating a score, we look at all the above rating criteria and apply our own proprietary data we have collected over the years. This data gives us an even more well-rounded view of a product and how it stacks up against the competition.

A product’s score is just one part of the equation. Our team of experts also writes in-depth reviews that consider a product’s features, benefits, drawbacks, and how it compares to similar products on the market. We also give readers practical advice on when and how to use the product.

If you have questions about our rating system or how we score products, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re always happy to chat and answer any questions you may have.
